Spiritual delusion

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

11 And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Spiritual delusion

Now I travel on with myself side by side

Deep in contemplation as I speak my mind

I just ramble on … almost a form of fright

Through lack of meditation that shows me blind

Loveliness assured in my own imagination

My heart placed on the sideline to watch battles of today

Surely perpetual abused by lack of concentration

As my flesh’s constant whining keeps my life in disarray

One day the facts are shown … no compromise in judgment

Escape then forlorn and grace replaced by fate

Spiritual down cyclone to be made permanent

Into a goat’s Capricorn … removed from Heaven’s Gate
