Speed of a Clock

Location

Tick, tock
Tick, tock
Tick, tick, tick

The sound of the hands of time as it moves slowly by,

but if time moves slowly by,

why is there not enough time?

We are told to stop and smell the roses,

we are told to hurry up,

we are told to take our time,

we are told time flys by,

we are told time bends for no one ,

but does it?

Why does time seem to be at different speeds?

You see, the speed depends on "me", not the clock, you see.

It is me to decide to smell roses or to work quickly

cause you see,

I am me, and me is happy as can be

cause time does not control me.
