Speaking the Language
Everyone says that animals can’t talk,
They are very wrong in many senses.
Animals do speak,
Though it is not in words nor spoken aloud.
They speak in action,
Movement of the ears,
Twitch of a tail,
Even a release of pheromones.
Animals passed on their language,
From the ancient ancestors in long forgotten times.
A primitive language,
But a working one.
Humans have “evolved”,
But our companions have not,
More they have grown into their roots,
Rather than outgrowing them.
Surely they cannot speak in simple words,
But their actions speak to all animals,
Yet humans have the audacity to say they do not speak,
When truly we do not have the capabilities to understand.
