The Sovereignty of God

We live in a world full of death and destruction

Funny, how it was God’s instruction

Tell me again how it was God’s design

Tell me again how it will all be fine

As children starve and suffer from malnutrition

Tell them all that it is God’s intention

All they want is to stay alive

Ever most poor, they struggle to survive

And so you’ve seen

And so you’ve heard

And yet still, you have not learned

That this life is our own, and cannot be wasted

Waiting on a piece of heaven that will never be tasted

Our world

Yes - no God is an excuse to be idle. Just because it may be God's design doesn't mean nothing can be done to save the suffering.
