Sounds Surreal

Sound like a
shaman's chant-
cacophanous,
surreal...
murmurings
reverberating
mindlessly-
richocheted
humming
as a choir of beatnik
angels-
echos of the aborigone's
instrument,
an ancient dijeridu
but,
this one of voice.

This is an older, workshop poem- a ten-minute stream of consciousness write. We were discussing sound, chanting, glossolalia and ancient peoples' relationship to music... hence, the poem may be a bit fragmented, it's more like a quick brainstorm on the subject.
