There are days I sit alone and wonder,
Do you miss me as much as I miss you?
I keep thinking of my foolish blunder,
But not regretting what we used to do.
Remember lying underneath the stars,
With dew on the grass and you in my arms?
We walked back in the cold and watched for cars.
Lately I've needed to forget your charms.
But sometimes you creep back into my mind,
And I can't halp but to wonder why,
After I put you and my past behind.
You're still there; I can't seem to say good-bye.
And I know I'm in a better place,
But you're a part of me I can't erase.
