Song Of Myself

Location

I wait and watch to hear my name,

I wait until to see what tomorrow brings,

I wait and I find myself listening, hoping, and dreaming.

Ohio brings what Arizona cannot,

Humidity, winter, blazing summers

Fields of grass, red barns, wide open roads

Cowboy country air

Growing trees of my relatives tomorrow.

I love my deep roots, our love, and never-ending openness,

I love my field of dreams,

I love my inspiration of never letting go.

Ice cream on warm summer days.

Lite strolls through the deserted park in the old midnight town,

Softball games that are never-ending bringing joy to I.

Laughters

Ha ha, Ho ho, He he, Aha ha ha ha

Giggles, Joy, Fun, Celebrations, Entertainment

What else could I possibly want?

What Arizona brings that Ohio cannot,

Hot blazing summers, cool autumns, winters with no snow

Dry Air and endless shopping opportunities.

My family watching me grow

So many opportunities for me to grow

My choices are very unclear.

I wait and watch to hear my name,

I wait until I see what may tomorrow bring,

I wait and I find myself listening, hoping, and dreaming.

I’m a lucky one from ear to ear.

But how else am I supposed to sing and cheer?
