So You Want to Know Who I am

Thu, 10/22/2015 - 00:00 -- Rhoüwe
Well then, let’s stand face to face
Right here, right now;
And close your eyes.

And if there is anyone around you,
Listen not, to their voice.
And if there are cars around you,
Listen not, to their roars.
If there are trees around you
Listen not, to the whispering leaves.
If there is silence around you
Listen not, to the enthralling sound
Your ears will perceive.

[Inhale]

Feel! The way I beareth the air.
Follow the resonance of my words,
And notice the rhythm of your heart’s;
beat, beats.

Step ahead, get even closer to me.
Invade all of my presence;
If you really want to know.

[Inhale]
[Exhale]

Immerse yourself in the scent around you,
Translate into sentiments your thoughts.
And open your eyes…

Behold the details of my face;
The wrinkles, the stubbles,
The arrangement of my moles,
The surges of my hair,
The gestures of my lips,
The color of my eyes.

Notice again, the rhythm of your heart’s;
beat, beats.

Step ahead, and feel my chest against you;
Enfold me with your arms.
As if it was the last chance to hug me.

[Inhale]
[Exhale]

Do you feel this?
This, is who I am.

I am,
the way,
you, feel
about
me.
