So What?

Location

So what, my hair frizzes every day?

So what, my teeth don’t sparkle white?

So what, my face has acne scars?

So what? I ask to those around,

Who laugh and snide

at how I sound.

I may not be perfect in every way

but I know what I am

and it’s flawless in my own awkward, quirky way

And that is how I’m going to stay.

So what, if I don’t conform to the growing social norm.

Because all in all, when it’s all done;

Who really was the flawless one?
