So Much More

Location

A black hole spit out my kind of light

I’m on the road when I finally come to life

Hit the gas, head for the city to feel tonight

I’ve been waiting for years for this kind of sign

This is the story of my resurrection

A heart’s beat to change my direction

Something to soothe this lost connection

That long ago died

I was long gone

You made me feel like I was nothing at all

Then I looked at this love in all

Nothing at all

I am so much more than you will know

I am so much more than you could love

So much more than you could imagine

You couldn’t take this in, so you knew you’d have to go

Oooh you had to go

I hit the city to let my dreams run wild

San Francisco, that place stimulates my mind

I made plans to challenge the tests of our time

I’m in a hurry, and don’t you worry, you don’t infect my mind

I get lost in the crowd when all seems futile

Watch the faces as they scurry from place to place

I still think of you, I’m not in denial

But it’s the streets of the city that make this heart race

I am so much more than you will know

I am so much more than you could love

So much more than you could imagine

You couldn’t take this in, so you knew you’d have to go

Oooh you had to go

And it scares me that just one person could do me so much damage

And it scares me that I loved you and you just took in your stride

But it empowers me that I can build myself back, stronger

So much more

I am so much more than you will know

I am so much more than you could love

So much more than you could imagine

You couldn’t take this in, so you knew you’d have to go

Oooh you had to go
