Life's essential elements emerged
For those to create your body
Powerful collections of cosmos had ferociously surged

Not in one instance,
But over billions of years
A once massive star
Not so suddenly, but slowly, disappears

A single star yields an enormous flow of energy
More than you can conceptualize
The abundance of energy is within us all
Therefore, you're a star in disguise

It turns from the inside out
Deep in the core all the way to the crust
The monstrous body saunters apart
Into minuscule, faint flecks of cosmic dust

Every atom in your body
Came from an exploded star
Their former metaphysical particles
Make you who you are

And the particles in your left hand
Are from a different star than those in the right
It's an aesthetic concept that can be seen
Only through telescopic sight

No single thing created you,
Only a collection of these bright beings could
This goes to show how the cosmic world
Is so terribly misunderstood

We're remarkably intricate creatures
Beyond our own comprehension
I firmly believe it's our atomic astronomical ancestors

They were the origin of our life
