It's a funny thing really

No seriously it's hilarious

When you mentally snap

 

I happen to know what it's like

To lose all clarity

To watch your sanity 

Clash with the harsh twisted reality

To have your world turned upsidown

And your foundation ripped up from under you

 

To just.....snap

 

Everything is funny when it happens

Seriously everything is hilarious

I couldn't stop laughing

All that stuff I was worried about

About growing up

About making sure people liked me

Society and it's silly little rules

Hilarious

Simply pricelss

I wanted to laugh at all of their faces

 

Ha!

Ha!

Ha!

HA!

A loud laugh

A crazy laugh

Maybe even point some fingers

Snort 

Roll around on the floor

 

It was just so funny

 

Because the funniest thing in that moment was

They would think I am the crazy one

I would be hauled of to their "mental institution"

Dubbed "a nut"

"A Crazy one"

"Purely insane"

But it gave me a sick joy to realize

I was not the crazy one

Nor was I insane

Instead they were

 

All of us are

 

To live in a fantasy named society

Where we invented the idea of sanity

Made that our reality 

All to ignore or avoid our inevitable demise

To remain oblivious that the world is ruled by a harsh emperor named Time

Everything we do is to pass the time

Spend the time

And ignore the relentless ticking of the clock
