Smile, Why not?

Smile, why not it often leads to laughter, I'm grateful for the life I live

and loving every chapter.

To spend time with my mother is always more than fun, her grin is like

the light of day her smile could blind the sun.

Then there's my oldest brother, charisma is his thing, we laugh, joke and

play all day, we're always on the scene.

I'm happy that he's back and now our house feels like a home, to me he's

like a father, the heir that claims the throne.

Then there's my other brother, so talented with poise.

He steps upon the stage and there's a cease of every noise.

His voice is like a lion, his mind is like a sponge.

He reads the script and moves his lips the casting call is done.

To watch him act is such a thrill, you barely know it's him, when he's

on stage, directing or he's featured in a film.

Then there is my sister, her eminence is key, I love the way she raps,

adore her positivity.

She makes me laugh with just a look and I can tell her all,

when she's at home we party, when she's away I call.

Then there are the children that I work with every day.

It brings me joy to teach them and to watch them run and play.

Their innocence reminds me that there's good in every soul, they show

Me that the world is  more than cruelty and cold.

They teach me that the rain is just a drink for mother earth, they show

me all the little things and value what there worth.

So, I smile, why not, it often leads to laughter, I'm grateful for the life I

live and loving every chapter.
