With A Smile

Location

There is never a wrong answer, yet mine is never right

You flaunt your opinion around like it's a fact not yet verified

We try to live up to your standards, but no one knows how to

You dare us to be different, but only if we are like you

So I ask, my supposed superior, mentor, and friend

What makes me not good enough?

I am here to tell you, friend

I am adequate

No I am more than adequate, I am ample

I may not messure up to an A on your scale

But I will make my life matter, because I matter

I will break my back, over work my brain

Just for the plessure,

The satisfaction,

That I, Yes me,

Proved you wrong

And I will do it the same way I take your bullsh*t,

With A Smile.

I especially like the beginning, the contrast of the lies of teaching and the reality of school. Props to you.
