Slip Away

Strength is all part of a mindset.

“You’ve got to learn to get a grip.”

(Now you will accept to watch yourself fall.)

Scream the words from your thoughts to your lip.

“You’ve got to learn to get a grip.”

(Stop, you can’t keep doing this to yourself.)

Scream the words from your thoughts to your lip.

Those feelings escaping could change your health.

(Stop, you can’t keep doing this to yourself.)

You are starting to weaken your soul and heart.

Those feelings escaping could change your health.

People who love you say, “your decisions aren’t smart.”

Strength is all part of a mindset.

You are starting to weaken your soul and heart.

People who love you say, “your decisions aren’t smart.”

(Will you now too, accept to watch yourself fall?)

No! You can’t let them get to you.

You can’t try to run.

You can’t get all quiet.

Push on, (yes you must), push on.
