To Sleep the Sleep That Sleeps

A desire so strongly desired

A feeling recognized yet unknown

the purity of it has left my being

it's all I have ever wanted to know

It's not as simple as one believes

its something so underappreciated

the complexity of it is overrated

yet I don't understand how to submit

I never wanted, needed, desired something more

I want to fall so deep

It'll soon be able to take over

and I'll sleep the sleep that sleeps
