Skrillex Pilgrim Dubsteps the World

Skrillex Pilgrim Dubsteps the World
October 28th, 2014

Busted the bunker my brain’s in,
and this missile’s heat-seeking my splayed skin.
Yeah, my cranium’s collapsing – thoughts are chipped and charred,
but all of this is bearable – losing you is what was hard.

Petrified, imprisoned – yeah, I’m pinned beneath the pain,
barely breathing and I’m bleeding and I’m baking in my brain,
and my heart falls and fractures at your feet;
down on my knees at the mercy of your deceit.

Migraine, yeah my brain sure does strain to swim here,
‘cause I’m limbless – lost and friendless – and I just want to feel you near.
It’s pouring and I’m abhorring that your aura ain’t around me;
and it astounds me – quite profoundly – that you and I can’t be.

You capture this critical moment like Kodak,
and you’ve got a lock on my love like LoJack.
You’ve got the blueprints, yeah you know my specs. –
but you don’t see this lost love’s left me a wreck.

These flashbacks are like flashbangs, and they’re fucking with my head,
and your last words to me pumped my guts full of lead.
Yeah, I’m home alone and bleeding and re-reading my regrets;
maybe I could learn something this time – c’mon and place your bets.

It’s perilous, it’s poisonous, but dammit it’s my past,
and just who-the-fuck told me this pain wouldn’t last?!
It’s hitting harder than ever and it’s eviscerating me,
and all you left me with was this insanity.

How much longer must I harbor the havoc in my heart?
It’s tragic there’s no magic to give us both a fresh start.
