Skin

I am so irrevocably in love
Your luminance is immeasurable
You exist in an assortment of flavors
and it swoons me
The earth is so blessed to have colors in every magnitude upon it’s surface and within its layers
The divinity of the way you glisten in the sun
enchants me
You are my closest star
Darling, I admire the way you shelter your monument of bones
allowing me to flow like water
i am silk
and i form like the mountains within time
incredibly, you are reborn nearly every minute of my breath
and proudly i am there to see you grow
you are brilliant
i am brilliant
i glow flaxen
I am honeyed in my nature
smooth as Adam’s ale upon this radiant energy
I can move within time
with space
I am simply matter upon the elements
you contract my individuality
without you
we are simply a xylophone of gray
meshing together in no specified path
taking the road most traveled by
you are the epitome of humanity
the earth is a host for empty colored canvasses
so beautiful to see such art
everywhere
in your radiance i will forever remain spellbound
