Sixteen and Pregnant

Location

There's one there,

And another over there.

Bulging bellies fill the halls and block the views of the whiteboard.

It should be a shock to hear of one,

Yet everyone's taking bets on who will be next.

There is no judgement, nor should there be.

The acceptance and expectation to be a mother

Before graduation, it's appauling.

Yet they parade their pride

About whose due date is sooner

And whose baby daddy is still around.
