Six Letters, One word

Mon, 01/20/2014 - 10:40 -- faith01

She pushes the breath,

of life to your being.

Never ending affection,

from the moment she heard you screaming.

She patched up your booboo’s,

and kissed all your owies,

thought up your name,

from the hour of crowning.

She drove you to the mall,

and stayed up all night,

when the plague of sickness,

put up a good fight.

She wiped your tears,

when he first broke your heart,

took you on trips,

and loved you from the start.

She’ll always be there,

beautiful and strong.

She’ll pick you up,

every single time you fall.

She may not be perfect,

but at least she tries.

Mother;

six letters,

one word,

love that lasts a lifetime.
