Sirens

Sirens.
They tell me I am asleep.
Serenity.
A serenade of degrees.
Tranquility.
A trill of thirds ring in my head.
Where do I find rest?
The blissful chords.
The whimsy of itchy ears.
Pleasantry finds me near the rocks.
The crags are where I stand.
The mist and fog blind me.
But at least I am free.
Free from the mast that stiffened my spine.
Free from the ropes that held me bound.
I can do as I please.
Oh, my bones never felt so much like they belong to me!
Liberation, is it your voice I hear?
I am wild with glee.
It is you I see.
Take me away I say,
Take me away forever.
Deep into the sea,
Of my eternity.
