a glimpse into the life of this single parent.

Single you ask,

simple i reply,

the man i chose to lay with,

smiled and lied all while looking right into my eyes.

This child we created,

apparently is MINE,

he denounced him without reason,

he is a "man" without a spine.

But one day in the future,

when my son is all grown,

i will explain to him the reasons,

why i raised him all alone.

I will tell him how much i loved him,

how he was truly a gift to me,

and that daddy wasnt needed,

for both roles belonged to me.
