How do you protect the innocent eyes, in a world filled with lies? Lustful minds that trick the young into irreversible crimes. Hips move in sync, to what eyes through cracked doors have seen. ”If I open my mouth, and bob like this. Guess what mom? You taught me that trick” Tight clothes, loose hair, low standards. To catch a man 101, a class I know I could teach. Bent knees, low self-esteem that’s all you need. How I’d love a college degree. To be able to stand on my own two feet. The only knowledge that I know though, is in these streets. Lies float through my head. Remember you said you’d be with me? That you needed me, couldn’t be without me? So why am in these empty sheets, with tear stained cheeks? I may not have a ring on my left hand, But I have the power to catch another man.
