Silent Tears

The silent tears roll down my face

Soon a fire takes their place

My eyes look up with murder and hate

My skin a cold and pale slate

Your hand that reaches out for mine

And gently coaxes the angry cat

The warm embrace in your eyes

It slowly draws me back

The silent tears within my eyes

From you only, they can not hide

But all that truly matters to me

Is that you're the only one who sees
