Silenced With Sorrow

Location

She hides in the shadows, this girl I’ve seen,
Lurking beneath the Weeping Willow tree
She makes not a sound as her shoulders shake
Her body trembles, her soul will break
Riding on the wings of a butterfly
She’s waiting for her chance to die
Oh how delicate and small she seems
If only someone would hear her screams
When she cries, it’s a song so pure
I see Sorrow has spoken to her
He called her out of her darkest days
She took his hand, and let her heart decay
Together they soared into the night
They hit Paris and Rome and the city lights
Twinkled like stars in the Eastern sky
He protected her in a veil of sighs
She cried into his shoulder when dawn arose
She trusted in him, but He had to go
Before he departed, he held her close
Whispered our love is infinite and left her a single red rose
