In a society where silence is golden.

The youth of today still need molding.

All I hear is silence and all I smell is fear.

The youth are the future in the future is here.

You have no wisdom is what they say

 open your mouth and you could save someone today

Silence is not consent

The guy that stole your innocence belong in a pit.

We need the knowledge from our elders

The energy from our youth 

Coach our kids to do better

For without them what would we do

So many things in the system need to be changed

Gun violence pay rates and a lot more

How long before there’s a change

The kid that committed suicide because he was called fat everyday.

 yet you  past him with your head down because

 you were ashamed of what the others would say.

Now you live in guilt realizing that something could’ve changed.

Open your mouth and you could save someone today.
