Silence and Solitude

Spiritual solitude

When your life becomes a new

When truth becomes your view

When you shed the pain and hurt you have been through

Now like a butterfly finally leaving its cocoon

I can broaden my horizons and let my mind fully bloom

Sitting here in May, birthday coming up in June

Oh, how we get so old so soon

People dont relate

Misunderstandings turn to hate

Leaving you in desperate need to meditate

You want to dig deeper and find why

You wish you could fly

Wanting to go light years away and kiss this troubled world goodbye

I never liked to be alone

But now alone is my new home

Where i wrap up in all my thoughts to find the things that are true

I cant turn back to my old life where ignorance was cool

Spiritual solitude was never made for a fool
