Silence Among Others

Silence Among Others

By: Tom

I rarely speak too loudly

For I am as quiet as the breeze

I move among the forest

Speaking only through the trees

The leaves help tell my story

For without I am not seen

Unless of course the breeze is stronger

In which case tree trunks lean

Very rarely am I loud enough

To send them to the ground

But as long as no one hears me

I haven't made a sound

So every once in a long while

I travel deep into the woods

To break the trees in solitude

For with others I never could
