Silence

Location

As the day grows older,

As the night grows stronger,

The birds disappear,

The predators reemerge,

The stage is set,

The stars are lit,

Everyone who listens is invited,

Yet no one moves,

The night grows colder,

Only One appears to the feast,

All decked out and ready to go,

Yet no one comes,

 As the night grows colder,

As the night gets older,

Only Silence is there.
