This Sick World

People are cruel
That much I know is true
Not only is it kids
But adults too
You have your fun
Now it’s time that it be done.
You make fun of those who suffer
You pick out there images off the internet and put your own caption
The only thing you are doing is adding to a fire
A fire that’s been brewing since the age of dawn
Since the age of time
This world makes me sick
I wish all the cruelty could be swept out like a virus
Swept out and never return
This cruel cruel world
Has turned into something that is unimaginable
This world’s people are insane
While not all are cruel
The majority is.
Is there no end?
No end over that horizon
Is there no end to this sick world of horrible people?
The million dollar question is the one we all desire
Desire to know the answer
A question no one wants to answer
They don’t want to answer because it would cause disaster.
Ruin their own reputation
They don’t want to admit their faults
Because then that would mean they would have to change
The million dollar question is this
Why would you make fun of someone else when that person could just as well be you?
No one wants to answer it.
The day they do is the day the world changes.
I would love for that to be tomorrow
but I don’t see that happening
We have to continue to live in sorrow
Live in fear
When that’s not how it should be
So hear my plea
Stand up for what’s right
Let all the good people of this world
The good the people who are still left
Let us corner those bad people
Who take pleasure in your suffering
And corner them all and say
You Must Change
You Must Change
