Shot

Here

Boom

Gone

Every day 96 people living their day

Not knowing

Its their last because one person

One person

Was given a gun.

They were here

Heard a boom

Now their gone

Seven  billion people on this earth

Three hundred, twenty three million in this country

Thirteen thousand killed with a gun each year

Here

Boom

Gone

Seven

Seven people not even twenty are killed every day

Parents waiting for their kid to come home

But they never do

7.3% of gun deaths a day are people not old enough to enter a bar

Here

Boom

Gone

Schools

Homes

Gas stations

Look I’m not saying that guns are evil

They shouldn’t exist

We should destroy the second amendment

I’m just showing the facts

We let fear or hate guide us

Hiding love

Hiding compassion

Hiding the good in our world

Ohio, Washington, California

Texas, Illinois, New mexico

Luisana, Kentucky, Maryland

Florida

Last year there were nine school shootings

In January and February alone this year there’s been eight

This needs to stop

We need to stop

Look back and change

Change for us

Change for them

Change for the unborn children untainted by the violence in this world

The darkness in this world

It may take a long time

But we need to save our future

Before there is no future to save
