Shooting Stars

To be a restless shooting star

is a binding contract:

no stopping, no restarting.

Straightaway across space,

Saddened to bid fairwell to

the stabilized colleagues, shining in

stillness, serenity.

Not to worry of tirelessly

journeying to a greater purpose

in such numbered days of life.

To act as an empathetic shooting star

is a sacrificial duty:

for sake of others' wises,

for sake of illumination Sky's winning streak.

Elated to bid good deed

of an ultimately changing season whether in

sand, snow.

Such grander initiative to

render what is dreamed

rather than what is predicted.

To live as a daring shooting star

is a strangely defeating venture:

full of thrills,

full of setbacks.

Excited to bit the next challenge

against the restless peers in

swiftness, strategy.

Resenting the missed possibilities

that hashes out regret

rather than empowering a rebound.
