A Shoe

Location

You may have 20/20 vision, yet you do not see,

See all the things that make up me.

You see the crooked glasses, the red lion-like hair,

and the more than curvy body-shape if you dare to stare.

But what you do not see is the all-seeing eyes behind the glasses,

the mind beneath the hair, and the heart within the body.

You do not notice the somber tint to my soul.

You can't even see that I am utterly alone.

You have not felt the many scars and calluses on my heart from self-repair.

You think I could care less about pain because I pretend to shrug every weight off my shoulder.

You see so far from the deep you pass by even the outermost layer.

You do not hear the ever changing laugh that spews from my mouth.

You do not gaze into the eyes that can find beauty in even in the dark.

You have not felt the quirky awkwardness I seem  to spill form every limb.

You may have 20/20 vision, yet you do not see that even on the days that I don't feel like a piece of poo,

I still want to become a shoe ( Being that they lead a simple life without feelings).
