Shock
Impact
crashed into like a car,
like waves onto rocks,
and lost
like a single pebble,
dropped in the gray ocean,
never to be seen again,
falling, sinking,
out of all control,
lost in a sea of black
Numb
like my hand out the window
reaching into the icy depths
of the fall wind
and reaching for
that absent warmth,
feeling pain
for a painless destination.
Fingers connecting to endless fog,
viewing visions of night,
void of cosmic entities
and glorious beings,
and void of me.
