she tried

Every time she needs a hand
there is noone there
she begins to wonder why
she should even care

She tries to talk
to those around
but they gaped at her
as if she made no sound

She tried her hardest
to make you hear
she called for help
and watched you disappear

And now she's gone before
the blood even reaches her hand
her mouth is silent but
you finally understand

Too late
too late
you had to wait
and now it is
too late

She died unheard this time,
an accident but,
The next ones a crime
