Shadowy Silence

Her head is filled with the voice. She relays what the voice tells her to say. "I'm fine!"she says, while inside she's pleading for someone to help her, someone who won't just believe the voice. "I'm not fine! I need help!"she says. But the voice drowns her out. The voice keeps her up all night, telling her that she isn't good enough, she doesn't deserve life. All her friends believe the voice while she is silently screaming, wanting it all to end. She tries to tell someone how she feels and they ignore her. The voice feeds on her pain. It eats her slowly, darkness slowly creeps across her mind. She is trapped in an asylum in her own head. She suffers in shadowy silence.
