Sex with a Stranger

Sweat,

I feel it dripping down, wet.

Heavy breathing

I close my eyes, hoping it’s just me dreaming.

Softly touches me,

I hold him tightly...

Trapped,

Perhaps the feelings can take me away

Far away from this place

Discover a new meaning,

A need for change.

Humiliated by the act,

I try to calm myself,

Relax...

Relax...

Relax...

The one who was hurt was I,

Who let myself shiver and die,

That night was a place,

Where I had not known the difference between love and space,

But rather saw them as equals,

Under those sheets,

And under those same sheets,

I lost myself to a man’s heat.
