The serenity of Rain,
The feeling of loss and uncertainty,
I fight with a long restrain.
The darkness of my heart,
Is released at this time,
Consuming my mind,

The Serenity of Rain,
Brings me tears,
It makes me face my fears,
When the darkness of the night is released,
My fear reaches its peak.
My loneliness grows,
But I hide it so no one knows.

The Serenity of Rain,
Splish-splash-splish,
Sings to me bringing me home,
The rain soothing me,
Just like the words of a mother’s tone.
When the rain ends finally,
I look all around,
I see you and see I am free.

The darkness has released my heart,
But now I am afraid,
My fear has gone into the dark,
But now I am delayed,
The serenity of rain,
Splish-splash-splish.
