Separation within ...

Titus 1:1515 All is pure to those who are pure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted. Separation within me

Conscience can be defiled and can be hardened also.

Can it really be ... after being enlightened?

Can we bribe our conscience or let it compromise?

But if that is possible ... is not freedom lost and frightened?

If conscience is separate from myself ... how could it affect me?

If it is a part of me ... how could it not be defiled?

Should it reside outside my flesh to be able to observe me?

If in spirit the question is: ... “How could it become so vile?”

Is it may be possible that it goes through progressive sanctification?

But than a pure conscience would be an incomplete gift of Christ.

That is not possible ... for He gives without restriction

so somewhere in this matter ... myself is intertwined.

In my early comprehension ... what showed to be right or wrong?

Guided though by gratefulness appeared what God’s Love did for me.

Did it not expose the Will of God ... and the fullness of intention?

Didn’t He feed “milk” to grow ... so I could digest my being free?

Now the voice of conscience ... I have to adhere too

is the  simply desire ... to be filled with the Spirit?

To want to lead a life ... after God’s own Will

I need to be sanctified ... but that is not all of it.

To be faithful to one’s conscience ... is the first step of sanctification.

Conscience under girds ... and supports the wants of God

It is the foundation ... that makes our personal relation

with Jesus Christ, our Savior ... our Everlasting God.

Christ through our conscience ... then testifies that way

or we are clear towards God ... and also towards man.

Whether our thoughts, deeds or words ... follow the call of God’s purpose

and shows us our rebellion ... when we are straying now and then.

Rom 9:1  I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,

As we mature in Christ and more of Him lives through us.

The Holy Spirit and the conscience march in close ranks.

“My conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 9:1)

and my walk with my Lord will be humbly hand in hand.

When conscience condemns me ... I need repentance right then.

It is God, Who is right there ... my conscience to direct.

My conscience speaks God’s Will and never argues or reasons.

It does not need explanations ... for it is God Who dissects.

Titus 1:15 “To the pure all things are pure,

but to those who are defiled and unbelieving

nothing is pure, but even their mind and

conscience is defiled”.

God does not look at numbers of sacrifices made

and quantities of sacrifice do not really impress Him.

He looks at obedience and willingness to do so

a measure of faithfulness ... a hunger to be like Him.

Regardless how commendable the intentions of our doings,

God won’t move our desires if the Spirit is neglected.

Revelation of the same and not walking in the Spirit

will find us inattentive to the conscience as directed.

Allow the Holy Spirit through the conscience to point out

the sins that so easily ... beset us through the day.

Let the conscience probe our lives and show our real condition,

the way God beholds us ... for we do easily stray.

Without His conformation ... can we do God’s Will

just because we feel deeply ... the desire to do so?

Is it not just such ... that sins need treating one by one

until all are eliminated ... before the day is done?

Heaven’s light shall shine ... increasingly on the believer

whose unnoticed sins are regularly exposed.

He’ll read more of the law ... written in his heart

and will understand the same ... as through Christ he knows.

What have conscience and eyes in common ... are both windows to the heart?

Or? Is conscience simply peeking ... into the believer’s spirit?

Does through its rays Heaven shine ... flooding the whole being

with the Light, that is in Christ ... that purifies our seeing?

When the window through the day ... gets increasingly clouded

and a film besets it ... and little appears clear.

Is then our sensitivity throughout our simple conscience

paralyzed up to the point ... that no truth appears?

Self inflicted wounds ... in our spiritual life

will handicap the daily walk if we ignore our conscience.

Until we are to the point that our flesh will reign

and we loose our distaste for sin and disobedience.

Acts 23:1 (Paul) “I have lived in good conscience”

To be filled with the Holy Spirit includes the conscience.

Not any part of the soul ... is included here.

No flesh can contain ... in what is considered Holy

for the flesh has no idea ... about Holy Fear.

Acts 24:16 (Paul) “this being so, I myself strive to

have a conscience without offense towards God and man”

We are not apart from it ...though  consciousness is on hold.

May be I am not in reach of it ... for here my will is involved.

It takes great effort to get to it  ... in “the wanting to be told”.

and so be delivered from wrongs that pride hampers to dissolve.
