Senses

I feel the sun's warm rays kissing my skin
The soft breeze caressing me
Colors swirl and dance about

Soft yellows blend with deep greens
Ocean blue becomes soft jasmine
The reds of the evening sky fade into the blackness of midnight

As I breathe in the world around me,
I understand that this glorious beauty is priceless.
I ask myself,

"Why are we destroying it?"
