Listen, all I want is for you to listen.
I promise you won’t regret me like my set ambition.
Maybe you’ll love me one day.
Maybe I’ll find a way for you to be able to.
And when you think of me
It won’t be the wrong kind of thoughts.
You’re my graven image.

I tried, but everything I’ve done has
Lead to your regret.
I may not understand why, however,
I have to do what you need.
Just promise me you won’t blame your
Problems on your demands and regret.
Nothing’s ever your fault.

Listen, all I wanted was for you to listen.
Promise me you won’t regret me like the gun in my hand.
One day I’m hoping you will love
Me.
And when you think of me
I’ll be worthy.

Death, you were my only liberation.

You can’t comprehend
You’re blinded by yourself. What you’re doing is right
It has to be the same; everything has to be the same
You watch, you listen, but behind closed doors
You know you’re wrong.

You can’t comprehend
You don’t realize the pain you put them through
The classroom is screaming at you but you can’t hear
Blame it on them; blame it on what you’ve been through
Just don’t blame it on me.

You can’t comprehend
You have to have it your way
It’s not going to change, nothings ever going to change
Touching the smooth wood of the door,
You feel nothing.

You can’t comprehend
The bittersweet smell of control overcomes you
You decided to take a piece
The taste is overwhelming; everything’s going to be ordinary again.

Your candle is burning out
He was overpowering.
Open your eyes and let him decide
