Senior Prom 2018, 9:30 pm

I didn’t want to believe in love,

I thought it was like a drug,

Something I can’t quit,

Something that would split.

But you, my darling,

You are too startling.

The beauty, the wit,

You’re making me admit

I want to love,

I want to see the doves,

I want to be free,

I want to drown in your sea.

Do you feel the same?

Are you enjoying the game?

By the look of your grin,

Im just playing your violin.

It’s all fine,

It really is divine,

Not that you’d know.

(You’d never let it show.)
