Into Self

Location

Further down the rabbit hole,

into myself into my soul,

knowing myself seeing the others,

embracing the fact they are me, we are brothers

we've been hurt by our fathers,

we've been hurt by our mothers,

we've become them to one extent or another,

Waiting in vain and evading the pain,

I won't leave this place the same,

breaking the mold while growing old,

passages passed through no matter how cold,

whatever the weather we'll whether together,

continuing this journey into forever,

Pleasure not sought escape can't be bought,

freedom is immense when you're left to rot,

thought makes it so, with nowhere to go,

without a coat, left in the snow,

until peace is attained this or that way,

we can only progress day by day.
