Seeds of the Mind

Your mind is like a garden

You can grow flowers or you can choose to grow weeds

She amazed herself at how far she had grown

From the soil, she tended and not always with ease

Flourishment .... she was determined to succeed

From a seed to a sprout, every step counts

Each spring she'd germinate more knowledge till she is as wise as a willow tree

Like the bodies of the snakes in the garden

She'll shed a thousand skins to transform and allow for further growth

no day the same as the last
