To See and Not be Able to Do

Every time I encounter the News,

Yes the News

 CNN, FOX, etc.

it all depresses me

There are children in Gaza being bombed to death in their own homes

But politicians tend to turn their head the other way

The conflict is to intricate

to dangerous they say

to help the civilians struggling for life

Those who are able to help, block gates that would save lives

And provide medical aid and food

I see this occurring on the news

And I see the images of dead children

 and tears pour down my face

I SEE THESE VIDEO CLIPS OF ATROCIOUS SCENES AND I CAN NOT DO ANYTHING

But it doesn’t stop here

I have been witnessing the atrocities occurring in Syria

G E N O C I D E

Towards Syrians by the Syrians own government

as the Syrians with money left and those who could not flee

are no longer with us

To the dead victims of the Malaysian air plane

All of these deaths 

I see but I can not prevent

I want to free all the people in Gaza

to Let the Syrians LIVE IN PEACE

to be able to go in the past of the Malaysian air plane and tell all of those victims not to ride that plane

But I am not able to.

I can only see

And I cannot do.
