Through the trees and in the wind
The world was never there.
But then a song made it begin
And so that we are here.

The water ice cold against my fingers
As it slowly flows down the hill.
The spring will make it grow and linger
Since that is what it wills.

The sun so warm upon my face
Gifted a joyful laugh
The children run from place to place
And then cool down in a bath

The season here they come and go
It seems they never last.
But they never stop when things get slow.
Just like in the past.
