School

A glance around the room is all it takes

Others are at the sane point as you

You see the red puffy eyes

And you can hear the sighs

You wish the day were done

And, clearly, you're not the only one

Your mouth is dry

You're so frustrated you want to cry

Others feel the same as you do

They all want to quit

The same as you

School is such a bore

You wish you could just walk out the door

You can taste the freedom on your tongue

You can feel the grass beneath you feet

It's all in your head

But, boy, wouldn't that be neat?
