A Scholarship Poem About Scholarships

Location

Click click click

hear we go again

these scholarships are free

and the money is my friend

i write about my life

to be judged by some man

am i worthy of your spoils?

ill take all that i can

click click click

hear we go again

about the time i did it right

or perhaps my end

which of these do you think might

make you extra mends

youl tell them all about your life

while hold out your hands

Click click click

I watch their gready paws

they say they need much more

when they already have it all

Because will they really help us

the debt is rising even higher

the elderly always tell us

back in my day the weight was lighter

click click click

the leather is so hungry

buttons flash in front of me

i need to find some moeny

so i run through the fields

shaking the empty trees

to fill the belly of a moster

that is the college degree
