The scholar in the shell of torment

Location

I am a lost canvas
Why do I seem invisible?
Why am I ignored?

The ink settles deep on the page
As it resides in my flesh
Welted with fear ive become the hated
For crimes that have not been comitted
Look upon me with hoplessness and regret
I am the monarch with wings of change

I have come and I have conquered
What proof must I provide?
Enlightened through pain
Ive dreamt of normality
You look upon me with doubt
Just an empty shell living in shadows

Why must I scream?
I am here I have dreams
No words creep out
To my surprise their scared of my shell not whats inside.
