Saying Thank You

I was tried of it all
The profanity
The abuse
The lies I told
My caring parents
I though I couldn’t do anything
But when all of the above
Came into one
I had to do something
I look at them deep in the eyes and
Screamed “STOP”!
They startled a little but they listen
This is what I told them;
Today I’m Alive
Today I Can Breath
Today I’m Not Grieving
Today I’m Believing
But not everyone is
Because you may have
Things other people wish
They have like
Family, Friends, and Our
Wealth’s that the
World can give us today
That’s why we should say
Thank you
Not only to what we have but
But what we most likely created
And turned out to be
And you should be proud
Because you may believe you don’t
Have anything but in reality
Everyone is bless
The angry and hate
All turned to tears and depression
And with a warm hug I gave them
I whispered softly
“And you my friend should say
Thank You!”
